Work Craving Pause Card
A short pause card for cravings that show up during meetings, deadlines, desk work, or shift work.
Pause questions
- Am I hungry, stressed, bored, tired, under-stimulated, or overloaded?
- Would a planned snack, meal, water cue, or short break help?
- Can I step away from the screen or meeting context for one minute?
- What would make the next choice calmer?
- If I eat now, what would make it satisfying enough?
- What is the next normal action after this?
Use the pause gently
The pause is not a way to prove you can avoid food. It is a way to notice what is happening and choose the next useful action.
If you are hungry, eating can be the useful action.
