🚀 Getting Started
How do I start using the app?
After downloading Thinner from the App Store:
- Create an account with your email
- Complete the quick onboarding survey
- Your daily quests will be automatically assigned
- Complete quests to earn XP and watch your cheetah dance!
Tip: Start with Level 1 quests like "Baby Steps" (just 250 steps) or "Breath Break" (3 deep breaths).
📋 Quest System
How do quests work?
Quests are daily challenges across 8 categories. Each category has 6 levels of difficulty:
- Complete a quest 3 times to unlock the next level
- Daily quests reset each day at midnight
- Weekly quests track progress over 7 days
- Each quest awards XP based on its level (25-150 XP)
Why can't I see any quests?
If your quest list is empty:
- Log out and log back in
- Check your internet connection
- Force quit and restart the app
🏆 Achievements & Progress
How do I unlock achievements?
Achievements unlock automatically when you meet their requirements:
- First Steps: Complete your first quest
- Week Warrior: Maintain a 7-day streak
- Level achievements: Reach specific levels (10, 25, 50, 100)
- And 60+ more achievements to discover!
My achievements aren't unlocking
Achievements are checked when you complete quests. If you believe you should have unlocked one, try completing another quest to trigger the check.
🐆 The Dancing Cheetah
What does the cheetah do?
Your 3D cheetah companion:
- Celebrates when you complete quests (Excited animation)
- Dances salsa when you finish all daily quests
- Performs a special twist dance for level ups
- Shows different moods based on your progress
Fun fact: The cheetah has 6 different animations and over 20 motivational phrases!
💳 Subscription & Billing
How do subscriptions work?
Thinner offers subscription plans through the App Store:
- Free trial available for new users
- Multiple subscription tiers (weekly, monthly, yearly)
- Manage subscriptions in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Cancel anytime through App Store settings
Note: We cannot process refunds directly. All billing is handled by Apple.
🔧 Technical Issues
The app is crashing or freezing
- Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- Restart your iPhone
- Delete and reinstall the app (your data is saved)
- Ensure you have enough storage space
I can't log in
- Check your email for typos
- Use the "Forgot Password" option
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
